The Perinatal Program

The Perinatal Program provides services to pregnant persons living with HIV or substance use disorder. Staff are trained around the specific needs of pregnancy and are available for any individual regardless of where they receive medical care.

Family & Perinatal Services

Family & Perinatal services include:

  • Medical & medication adherence support
  • Lab results monitoring for health risks for birthing person and child
  • Safety and intimate partner violence screenings
  • Linkage to public benefits & insurance
  • Monthly Support Group
  • Pantry (First Foods, Formula, clothing, diapers, Hygiene items)
  • Lactation Support
  • Referrals for baby equipment/clothing (Pump for chest/breast feeding, car seats, Pack & Plays)
  • Education on formula feeding, co-sleeping and nutrition
  • Prevention Counseling
  • Linkage to pediatric care
  • Postpartum education (safe sleeping, self-care, contraception)
  • Risk reduction counseling
  • Home Visitation Services
  • Assistant Case Management Services (child care, assistance with skills of daily living and social support)
