Action Wellness proudly announces the 30th anniversary season of GayBINGO! This beloved tradition returns to Congregation Rodeph Shalom (615 N Broad St.) from Saturday, September 6, 2025 through Saturday, June 13, 2026. Each month, guests can expect over-the-top themes, show-stopping performances, and the unforgettable energy of the legendary Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs). Each event features a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere that celebrates joy, resilience and community. For coming themes, look for pop culture meets fan favorites, including Pink Pony Club, Rocky Horror, Wicked (For Good), Twas the Night Before Christmas, Superhero Smash, Sitcom Moms and a surprise rainbow bombshell finale. Doors open each month at 6:00pm, with bingo starting at 7:00pm. Tickets are now on sale for $50 each and are being sold through a new website at actionwellness (DOT) org/special-events/. “We are so thrilled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of GayBINGO!,” said Action Wellness Executive Director Mary Evelyn Torres. “This year signifies a remarkable milestone celebrating three decades of supporting individuals living with HIV, while providing a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.”
She continued, “Over this past year, I’ve had the privilege of meeting longtime attendees who have been part of this event for years, even decades, as well as first-time guests who had always wanted to experience the magic for themselves. It’s truly inspiring to witness our community come together – month after month – in celebration, solidarity, and support. We are especially thankful to the BVDs and other great volunteers, our fabulous hostess Carlotta Ttendant and our incredible sponsors.”

NEW SEASON THEMES AND DATES
For the new season, GayBINGO! returns to Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Philadelphia. Doors open at 6:00pm. Bingo starts at 7:00pm with an over-the-top performance by the Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs). Game hosts Carlotta Ttendant and Stella D’oro then make their grand entrance to guide the audience through this fabulous journey.
During the games, look for sponsors and community leaders to participate on stage by calling the bingo numbers and sharing their stories. At intermission, look for the BVD’s to take the floor for theme musical numbers. This year’s themes include:

ABOUT ACTION WELLNESS
Action Wellness works to enhance the lives of persons with HIV and those at high risk of acquiring HIV by providing a range of trauma-informed social services to help clients maintain their physical, emotional and economic well-being. Services include: medical case management, perinatal care, prison outreach programs, housing and Buddy services.
The agency serves over 2000 clients and their families annually through the dedicated efforts of over 150 volunteers and 80 professional staff. Services are provided at five office locations in the city of Philadelphia, Bucks and Delaware County. Programs are open to all people regardless of their ability to pay.
